Doncaster But i have sold the 6 cylinders and only have two fours left, both 1300s a spitfire from a mk 3 and a dolomite HLS the dolomite engine is good and complete. They will fit either the small spitfire/herald or j type boxes or marina / dolly boxes with the triumph housing. all the same back plates anyway.

Why as it to be from a six? You are using a marina /dolomite box not a j type.

I have an adaptor plate so I can put a 6 pot box on my Rover V8 The four pot bellhousing will fit just the same its got to be ex 130 or 1500 dolomite for the starter if its in the same place or a mk 3 late cast iron housing will fit too i got both i don't think the j type box is much stronger than the std dolomite despite rumors to the contrary.

[/quote] Didn't think it was big enough as the clutch cover is huge on a RV8 and it could catch the bellhouding, I'm no expert just what I have been told.
