Don't know Dobber but I do know before I was finished at the quarry we were not allowed to have acetylene portable, had to be chained in the workshop and we had to use oxy and propane portable. Don't know if you could fall foul of whatever regs stopped us or not.

its illegal to sell the cylinders as they are rented and belong to BOC,  but people do seem to get away with selling them ,,i,d of thought that ebay wouldn,t allow them in the listing,,

yep,, is it a rule for one,, and a differant rule for another ,, or just evil bay thats crap,,

take note that  BOC a the like have ,,spotters,, looking for cyl,s on auction site,s and in newspaper adds ,, they have been known to prosicute ..

air products tried to do me for a cylinder i inherited when i bought a s/hand mig set ..

At school I brazed up a go cart chassis, unfortunately I have lts what little skill I had then as I have never used it since.

Give me an idea of what you want for them Dobber, always handy for cutting up and who knows I ay get a brazing torch for Christmas Smiley
