whats it worth ??

old yamaha dt 175  100% complete  but in bits all in good order low mile,s one owner from new  just want frame paint or powder coating and tank freshening up

been in shed for  10/15 years.

first of the monoshock type

 any idea of price as i know the bike,, its an old mate,s and i thought he sold it years ago but hay ho its still in the shed where i last saw it

  i want it cheap  but dont want to be to cheeky  Wink

Doesn't matter if they are getting rare - if it was all done up and shiny and MOT'd and taxed you could call it a classic - after 10 years in a shed it's just a shed bike.  It may not even run.  £100 is what I'd offer.  Maybe I'm tight too - but I'm not daft.

mums pretty rough  she fell last month smashing her shoulder in three place,s  and her humourus  so spent 2 1/2 weeks in hospital whilst they sorted it out 
she,s home now but totallly imobilised down one side

its just added to and made things alot tougher  were still trying to sort it all out /get over losing dad

 i,ll pass on you good wishe,s

could fancy that dt myself. saw one at uttoxeter with gen 700 mile on it. silly money . also a gt 250 with 174 mile on for 4500. investment it said..

the thing is i know or knew it so well and its the same mate that i bought a suzuki ,beamish, of many years ago

he used to tell his mum he liked the look of a bike and she  gave him the cash to buy it

wish i still had the ,beamish,,  but doubt  i could manage the  kick start these days   it was hard  and you just had to have a certain  ,knack, with it
