is that a radio tower i see in there? those are a fortune if it is try some where like ham radio deals or the lynchline (google these)  there'll always be a radio amateur somewhere looking for one

three stage tower with a large base mount all galvanised but no lifting winch or cables (cable were cut of for safety ) dont think its ever been used ,,

Whats the story here then?

family yard / homestead where i grew up and worked from ,, family owned since 1936, engineering,pipe fitting/mill furnishing, plant hire /motortrade and the base for what was a large vintage collection, all got to be cleared out as property on the market/sold
dad passed away in november 2010 at the age of 80 and was still working upto 4 days before he died , i,v been rescueing and passing stuff on for nearly 2 years its been a mammoth task
and i admit i,v been in tears at time,s
if all the paperwork gets done it should all be over in 4to 6 weeks
scrap mans due any day ,,i,v just run out of time ,,

iv been to wonderland,   [[coined the name i think mike]] ..met a monkey up there mike who i brought a manky disc conversion up for, cant recall who it was.... still got the franny b and the couple of old engines to restore one winter..
  this has got to be the biggest sort out in history,,,  really dont envy you the task mike, can see how it would get you or anyone  down.

scrap man has had six loads upto now this week and he,s coming back at 6 am in the morning ,,still loads of goodie,s left including the lathe , steel off cuts bars ,angle iron ,tube , nuts, bolts, fixings , engine parts , assorted vehicle filters by the 100,s lathe tooling vintage and classic light lenses etc,etc,etc, what we dont shift the property buyers scrap man gets when he moves in next week its the end of an era and many a lifetimes work  :'( :'( :'( :'(

Must be hard to deal with this mike,it's sad to think of it when you say life times work.i can hardly throw out the rubbish never mine scrap loads of good stuff

another two trailer loads gone to new homes this afternoon , had a couple of enquirey,s on the lathe one,s promising but he trying to get help to shift n, transport it over to chester,
and i,ve just dragged/carted another ton and a half over to north lincolnshire  ::) the missis ain,t seen it yet  ;) ;)

it finally got signed thursday just gone so were oif the property wednesday morning ,i,m up there now last minute rescuing bits n, pieces,
lathe go,s in the skip in the morning unless it gets left for the property,s new owner to deal with
