Dont know how helpful this will be ....  its a yank site that came up on google  ...  http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=256286&highlight=final+stage

its got some very small photo's ....  being for the yank version  you have to close one eye and work with a mirror  it should be on the right side then ...

thanks for reply Hagar... I stuck it in for its inspection & service 2 yesterday & found out I need to replace 1 front spring & 1 rear shock plus front brake hoses & rear metal brakepipe...
As I need to do those suspension bits Ive decided to stick a full set of coilovers on it instead & drop the ride height  slightly plus fit stainless hoses all round....
Place I use for my servicing on bm's want £200 to fit these items which aint bad but cash flow wont stretch to buying the bits then getting someone else to fit them...So its down to me to give it a shot....If anyone localish is bored enough to lend a hand to help fit these bits then feel free to come visit lol.....Fingers crossed I dont screw it up as off to Norway then doing a bit of touring through Germany, Poland, France ect in a week & this car is going to be doing about 5000 miles over about 3 weeks.....Ended up ordering a new Final stage unit (Hedgehog) & a reconditioned Aircon control unit to sort out the heater fault......Voodoo....
