Re the airconditioning:
I think you fill up the inside with straw and ice, and then the air blows through and into the car. Alledged to be very good, and most rusted out many years ago due to the water being left in them hence the rarity.

I must get along to one of these one day, even if its just to sit and dribble at all the beautiful woman  LOL Im regularly at Bisley, mostly training and shooting, but never made the time or found the money to do a hayride, shame on me!! |

not sure on these bikes
On the left is Eddie on his lovely little T100A, and on the right a 350cc Gold Star which was, I think, running a 500cc lump. It was pretty fast and won the bike drags anyway! And hats off to the guy dragging the Harley who only had one hand - and the bike had a hand shift. What a fantastic weekend it was. Still grinning.  |
