Front wheel drive using A arms??

is it possible to build a front wheel drive system using parallel A arms with a front wheel drive system??? I have a mad idea for a Morgenesque 3 wheeler using a Reliant motor and a 2cv gearbox but do not want to use 2cv front suspension though I gues I could but I wouldn't be able to get the same look?
this is a long term idea/project that is just starting to ferment in my mind

Keep the 2CV lump complete and build something like this, perhaps? Morrag

Google a car called a Blackjack Avion. Early cars used the 2CV suspension, but the later cars called a Zero (vw engine) had double "A" arm suspension and still front wheel drive.

my biggest grip about the 2cv engined specials is the engine is too far forward in the vehicle for me. The front wheels need to be at least level with the front of the vehicle otherwise it looks too Massey Fergie for me... hence why I pushed the front axle forward on the Pop, just looks so much better to me.
I really like this but again wheels need to come further forward, check it out against a triking 3 wheeler...

not really, just think they look nicer than 2cv suspension, though going the 2cv route would save sooooo much time....

Well, as you are probably well aware, if you go the total "Deux Chevaux" route you can use the orig. chassis, just reverse one trailing rear suspension arm and Bingo, a three wheeler!!! just a thought Shaun, Morrag
