1000 engine rally

the 27th 1000 engine rally 25th/26th june at astle park chelford cheshire (same site as nabd rally)

this the 27th rally that i have been involved in ,,e.i i,ve been on the committee since day one 28yrs ago

looking to be as big as ever approx 500 stationary engine,s . 120 tractors. 150/160 cars (approx) over 100 bike,s. 50/60 landrovers +commercials,milatry vehicle,s  and even a large field gun.
auto jumble and trade stands catering ,beer tent
12 full size steam engine,s 50 minature steam

      and LOADS ,LOADS MORE,
auction sale from 4pm on the friday before 24th

  well worth a look  did give manky the details at basingstoke but he,s a busy monkey  

may see some of you there (this will probably the last year that i,ll be involved )

thanks  andy,  but on my side things have taken a real bad turn ,,, for the worst,,, mother =a comitee member from day 1 as had a few hiccups and a couple of bad falls she,s now in  stepping hill hospital (south manchester) with a broken  humourus and a shattered arm to shoulder joint
meanwhile i,m trying to  keep things afloat from north lincolnshire

docs are hoping to replace her shoulder and upper arm joint with ,metal, sometime inthe next few days,,

this has all added to my own state

i,m sorry to moan /be a burdon  but i,m struggling to carry on ---------------===SORRY ............
