Does anyone know if there is a maximum distance required between clips to secure the brake lines? and does the distance differ for hardlines vs braided lines?

As mentioned above, brake pipes must be secured at a maximum distance of 12" (in old money) apart, this applies to solid and flexible pipes. Where the pipe goes round a bend, it`s best to secure it just before and just after the bend.
