Any excuse to raise the price or try and get you to quit riding.
Owning any petrol/diesel powered anything will soon be a privilage that only the rich can afford.
The reasoning given about assumption of carrying passengers is total B******s.
Excisting high risk groups apart, surely carrying a pillion would be a bloody good reason to ride more carefully?
How much longer can we continue to pay out our hard earned cash, hand over fist, and accept clauses like this?
Insurance always has been the biggest con trick going, news like this does nothing to change my opinion of that.

Someone will challenge that in court and they will have to allow you to take a pillion if your bike is designed to take two people.


They have also been applying this to trikes too so read the small print.
