Some of you Mankeys may have met Basel at the Basingstoke event, he is a man of many modes of transport, photos below show him with his very large ploughing engine powered by a 1940s Mercedes diesel engine.

Yes Tony held each year, but not in the past at this years venue, bin meaning to visit this rally for many years but there are allways other events on i'm booked into.

Isn't that in a field beside the A31, between Guildford & Winchester Rick? I think I passed it a week or so ago when they were setting it up. As you say, usually in a different field a bit further up the road towards Guildford. I always pass it on my way to the Victory Wheelers show at Hayling Island & think I'll do it instead one year. This year I ended up doing neither.  Sad

We had a club stand this year,great little show.Me and a mate camped the weekend,good beer tent and live music in the evenings  Grin

Yes Andy the show has had several locations in the past, the steamer in Neils third photo is a restoration project up for sale, fancy adding that to your line up of resto projects Roll Eyes Huh
