On Sunday 21st August 2011 six members of the Group (one woman and five men) are undertaking a motorbike journey around the coastline of Western Europe (some 8,000 miles) to raise funds for the Great North Air Ambulance. The riders that are taking up this Challenge are, Allison. Mike, Brian, Steve, Paul and Jimbo. They will be away for 25 days and will return on Wednesday 14th September 2011.
To take part each riders is asked to raise a minimum of £250. In addition to this amount the group have started a just giving page at:

Please try to give generously as the Air Ambulance service is run entirely from donations and not government funded at all.
