Yeah, I'm itching to get back out in mine now & start tidying it up, (it was never meant to be a ratrod). Been pouring with rain here all day though & I've got to work outside. Typically, the sun's come out this evening.

baffles out of exhaust as well, was going to leave them spiral baffles in after removing stainless wool, but they rattled like hell, so its back to just 2 silencers each side with a balance pipe.

as you've seen the minx made its debut today.
a few problems to sort,
new distributor,
new rubber donut/centre bearing on propshaft,
rear arches need cutting more or spring hangers need to be longer or narrower rear tyres because with vehicle full tyres rubbing on arches realy badly.
over heating, which could be the timing out due to distributor or mismatched sender and gauge.

bit pissed off when i got home, some non english people in roadway at back, mrs opens garage doors while i get weights to hold them open, while doing this the mrs goes off on one, shouting swearing etc etc, the cheeky bstards have only opened minx door an helped themselves to a sit down inside. sodding wankers.  topped off with me scraping door on passenger side cause its tight getting in, an there kids were everywhere an i'm trying not to run em over.  grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr............................
