Thats it  Wink

I can also get bolt on adapters to fit chevy / jag fitment wheels........

This could end up with 3 different sets of boots.

Fitted my dropped spindles today  Grin

Not much to write about, but it put the floorpan onto the floor - full on panscraper style.

The job turned out to be quite a nice job which was good! The spindles lower by about another 2.5" and widen as well

righto young Archie, picked up a set of Model Y Ford front hubs and rear axle today and it turn's out the deal included a complete front axle, wishbone and a couple of old time shockers.. well I'm using the front hub's but was thinking you might like the rear axle to play around with the hub's to see if they can be modded to fit the beetle.. yours for 25 squids delivered to Lunatic's workshop... on that subject, how are the beetle front hub's fitted?? are they the same as the Pop?? if they are get yourself a pair of Ford model Y front hubs and back plates and fit your wires....

Argh!

Ask me again next month. Golf is getting a new engine this month.

So. If you wanted a vw diesel engine, but needs a rebuild due to suspected bent rod, you can have it for free.

It is - it's a GTTDI 110 from a golf. Sideways Mounted motor though so don't know if it's no good. Should have the turbo attached but don't know what state it's in. Will check it when I can get it out.

If you get the chance to shift the rear end etc do so mate! Ive got so much on I dont think the wires will go on for a long long time!

Thanks for thinking of me though!

Ps send me the link for those hinges, I is well feeling hooptytech suicide dorrs.

yes please Mr Archie... It would be cool to have a diesel in the workshop to measure and make plans from... I will advertise the Y axle for sale, if I get no takers at 25 squids I will tuck it into the back of the barn for you mate....

No worries. Should have it out next week.

Up to you if it's any good though - tis only the baby engine - a 110.

If I was going to build something I would be looking for a pd130.

Tis up to you - remember it will need a rebuild and will be missing some bits.

But yours of you want it!

I'll post something up on your facebook mate.

This block is definately going to be no use to you - where it mounts is no good at all, but one from an audi A4 or passat will be ideal!
