People are always having problems with this, and I use a nifty little add-on that I downloded from the net called 'Windows Powertoys Image Resizer' - it means I only have to right click my photo and I can choose what size I want!

This is a link for those using XP - not sure if you can get it for other versions, but for XP just click HERE , have a look at the page and scroll down the right hand side till you find the one called 'image resizer'.

Hope this helps!

Seems to be a common problem -which is why Taz wrote a step by step guide & posted it at the top of the General Discussion section.
Personally I use Photosho, but whatever works for you.

I have used an old MGI resizing prog. for years, which is OK, but just having downloaded and used the resizing prog. recomended by Bobbi, I find it A1, simple and efficient, in short, excellent, cheers for that BG, I shall now use same henceforth! and for anyone else with resizing difficulties, or like me interested in simpler alternatives to the one you use, give this free download a go.....Morrag

Its one of those things that is harder to explain than do, (suppose that covers most things). It wont help when I say it really is easy with Photoshop, not tried the Photosho thingumyjig that Manky uses though Smiley

If you have Photoshop it's easy - but it would be overkill to buy an expensive program just to resize pics when you can get one for free!

I used to use Image Resizer years ago on XP Bobbi and it always worked very well. Never found a version that worked with Vista and have never looked since Win7 has been out, just do it all with Photobucket. I made a typo in my previous post and put photoshop, I dont use that as I forgot what you do and can't be bothered to learn it again for what I have to do Wink

This one - PowerToy Clone - says it works with Vista - but I don't know anything about this software or the provider!  I usually only use stuff that's been recommended by folks who know what they ate doing!
