the air filter on my reliant trike is stuck out to the side as ive turned the inlet around ,will this be a problem when it rains or in cold weather,i am due to travel to wootton bassett on mothers day this year ,and i dont want to break down ,is there a solution to this .what could i do ,i was thinking of putting some kind of cover over the air fileter,it as a K+N filter.

Hi Geezer, I wouldn`t worry too much, got a Hypercharger on the Viagra and they face straight into the wind. Tickover gets a bit lumpy in the rain but other than that runs fine.

it`s only a matter of remapping the chip in your engine management system and any engine tuner can do that. It`s actually easier for you with carbs you have to change jets, needles and allsorts, or you have to cheat like I did lol.
