Hi
Well it happens to us all from time to time, looks like the fruit of my labors might have to be sold.

If it goes it will be on Ebay later in the month

Virago 535 engine
Many new and hand fabricated components

Log book has the correct engine number and details but says Reliant Rialto Van (Tricycle)

No Tax No MOT Currently on SORN

If any one is interested in the mean time Email me at dave.watson555@ntlworld.com

Looking for £3000

I'll be gutted to see 4 years work go but thats life

Lovely looking trike but I think the fact the V5 isn't right would affect the sale value.

get it sva tested mate  there nothing to it ,only cost 90 quid and worth the trouble,it will keep its reg number and they just send a new log book ,a mate just done his ,all they did was come out ,look at ,say yes thats a trike ,and that was it ,easy ,

Sorry that's not correct.

SVA cost £105 I think and New registration Cert £50 new number plates and a couple of days off work!

An SVA means you will need a new chassis number avaiable from the DVLA.  The SVA takes about 3 to 4 hours cos the test and measure just about everthing. You then go to the DVLA for an inspection and then you get a new REG number and V5

A DVLA inspection involves someone coming out and looking at the trike and going ahhh it's a trike.

In this case however because the details on the V5 don't appear to match the vehicle they will say sorry. You need an SVA. Only trikes that have an unmodified chassis (Bike or Car) will pass the DVLA inspection without an SVA if it's already registered as another vehicle.
