A Ford truck, now the only place you're liable to see these is repeats of The Sweeney

Was talking to one of the guys, and he was talking about maybe buying an XS650...

Just found this on ebay, and it seems a "steal".....

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Yamaha-XS650-Bobber-/270746462057?pt=UK_Motorcycles&hash=item3f09bf2769

Buy it now for £850  !!!!!!

9pm on 8th May:  its SOLD already!!!! (it was only listed around 2pm, but not surprised at that price)

Had a great day - some of my pics are the same as your pics Tony, prolly for the same reasons!  Great to meet some more Mankies -  won't say put names to faces cos I forget them as soon as I'm told.........

The return journey was all going fine till I felt the clutch cable starting to part company!  Shocked  The last 20 or so miles were done almost without benefit of clutch - luckily I managed to only have to stop twice - so what if I annoyed the people behind by approaching roundabouts and traffic lights v-e-r-y slowly!  Both times it stalled but both time I managed a kind of rolling start and got home!

Not sure what I'll be doing about my planned long trip that's supposed to start on Thursday tho!  Son in law can fit the cable for me but it's getting one in the time - oh well, if I do that'll be great and if I don't, I'll have to change my plans.   Undecided
