hi,
i've had problems for a while opening the bootlid, had problems getting latch off to access the handle bolts so decided to remove lid,
it was then i found out the square bar on handle was'nt long enough and was only just into latch resulting in handle turning then clicking as bar slipped.
i wondered if a pop handle would fit, well with a little filing and welding it will, just so happens i've a brand new one in stock of parts i've got.
did'nt have a key for old one, so that killed two birds with one stone!!!(also saved me best part of £30!)

also i've got the paint for body so as lid was of seemed rude not to strip it, weld holes up that are'nt needed an get some paint on it.
this is where its at now.

some rust spots to deal with but nothing major.

I agree about the alloys - not right for the car - in fact I can't imagine those alloys looking good on anything!

you'd think it would be easy to find some 13" steels with 4x4" pcd.
i've spent around a month looking now!!!
