Thanks for the warm welcome.
The car is a 1962 100e popular, bought standard from a guy in Sommerset. I drove it home as it was MOT'd when i bought it two years ago. Broke down 5 times in total but got home in the end.
Car had been stuck in a barn for 20 years and the owner hadn't realised the barn roof had caved in??? So when dragged out it already had the patina (aka rusty bits), the good thing is underneath its 100% solid with no need for any welding.
When the car was originally dragged out it was purchased by a avid member of the sidevalve owners club, he refurbished the brakes suspension and put it back on the road. He reckons it was displayed at the NEC classic car show about 3 years ago as one of the last unrestored 100es..... Anyone remember it?
When i bought the car he asked what i was going to do with it told him i loved it just the way it was...

Two years down the line its running a warmed up Rover 3500 V8 and a Rover P5 BW36 autobox, back axle is 105e (soon to be strengthened).
Rockers covers were indeed purchased from Russ at R&R he even delivered them to Wheels day this year, No breathers or oil fillers these are blanks that you can get machined to suit any number of fillers and breather combinations.
Im going with Moon breathers that also double at oil fillers.
A few more pics below.
Cheers folks Steve
