Torrential rain forcast here for most of the weekend. Being a Postie, I've been trudging the streets in it all day . If it's like this on Sunday I'll probably give it a miss too, but will watch the forcasts & let you know Saturday evening Dave.
Taz is competing in a cross country orienteering on horseback challenge on Sunday, whatever the weather -braver than me!

Bugger, looks like it's cancelled   Angry Cry

It's only rain, thought we'd be used to it by now.

Understand the reason thought, might go to Goodwood then.

"I am sorry to say that the Hot rod picnic is canceled because there is a severe weather warning for Sundays and some of the roads we were planing to go on are a bit narrow .
We are not happy having to do this but it is felt this is the best thing to do."

Yup, officially postponed. A new date to be arranged when possible.
I had the following email today from Pete of the Surrey Street Rodders:

Andy
As there has been a 'Severe Weather Warning' (rain) issued by the Met Office for Sunday, I have taken the decision to cancel the Picnic. I'm sorry this is such short notice but I don't want people having accidents down narrow country lanes.
Could you please contact any one you know who was intending to come along. We will try to re schedule in a couple of weeks or so, when our stops can fit us in.

Sorry about that,
Peter Tillman

Better safe than sorry. Looks like I'll be spending the day more productively, working on my truck.
If you go to Goodwood Neil, take a camera along please. We're still stockpiling photos for future use.
