I prefer a bit more rake meself, but as you say, everyone's tastes are different, which is what makes customising so interesting isn't it.

More upright forks will make the steering quicker, more responsive, but on a trike will suffer more from bump steer & juddering on decelleration. Bump steer occurs when the back wheels hit a bump or rut & make the front end skitter. The wider & heavier the back end, the more pronounced it becomes. A lot of trikes will "shake their heads" when you slow down from speed. How much & at what speed varies from trike to trike, but I find about 45 degrees of rake on the forks & wide flat bars to give you more leverage almost cure it.
