very good photo , the other day we were in the back garden having a bbq when one of the kids noticed a rainbow but it didnt stem from the ground it was suspended in the sky side on , very strange and never seen one like it before  never got a photo and not much point as there wasnt anything to reference it against

could it have been the edge of the hole in the ozone layer ? or is that just a myth ? ( im thinking the tune to the x files for some reason )

I was watching the Vulcan fly over one day in the week and was distracted by an almost circular "rainbow" like a corona at the end of a cloud, never seen that before.

Why Pewsey?  I know from camping behind the Coopers that Pewsey has more stars in its sky than anywhere else, also seems to be a crossing place for multiple aircraft flightpaths....  yes I do often get up in the middle of the night, lie on the ground and look at the sky!
But I can't say I've noticed any UFOs.
