You're very welcome to post new projects here Clive. Custom paint is as much a part of the whole custom scene as the metalwork.

all finished on Josie's laptop now!

Part two of the video should be uploaded tomorrow once the clearcoat has dried! In the meantime, here's a shot of it pre-clear, the background has really 'popped' now the clear is on!!

No mate, I've got a drawing board and frame that I've replaced the board on, with a sheet of MDF that I drilled a series of holes in! It then means that I can hold anything I'm painting on it using bolts in the holes, at whatever angle I need them!

Just need a bit of a re-arrange to get the camera a bit closer, and further to the right so you don't get so many shots of my best side!!! Cheesy

Although, I'm going to try out a helmet cam at the weekend to see how that works when painting!!!

Finally got into the shed-io now we're all settled in our new place!

Decided to get back into the swing of things with a portrait-y type thing from the upcoming film 'Sucker Punch', a steam punk, sci-fi, fantasy type film!

Only some work in progress shots so far, and it may take a while to finish now, as I have two paying jobs taking priority now!!

They make a great surface to paint!! Flat-ish, with curved edges (??) Shows off paint effects by letting the light catch it from different angles to just a flat surface!! And kind of unique for display purposes too!!!! Cheesy

Clive

BTW, Andy, loving the new gallery view-y thing-a ma-jig!!
