hhmmmmmmm wish i'd stayed in bed
pi**ed down for most of the day, several trade stands cancelled at last minute, 4 marshals failed to appear, only 1 auto jumble stand arrived. the air ambulance was grounded due to adverse weather so didnt even get to us. we all got wet through setting up and stayed damp for most of day. around 40 vehicles braved the weather to be with us, trophy for "car of the day" went to a nice old triumph herald, "bike of the day" trophy was awarded to a lovely little suzuki gt 550. the trophy for "trike of the day" will stay in its box til next time as not one arrived. all trophies were sponsored by adrian flux insurance. the bands were good, cant remember their names but one travelled from wales to be with us. there will be a few photos to follow. all that said, we hope to be doing it all again on the last sunday of may 2011.

Really sorry your event was a washout - and for all the other organisers with the same problem.  We stayed home today.

I was planning on going to the Popham bike show today, but been wet & miserable here in Surrey all morning, so stayed at home.
You put on a show Pete. That's a pretty big achievement in itself. Whether the punters arrived or not, you still managed a lot more than most of us ever will. Personally, I'd rather do a small, good quality show, than a larger one where all the organisers want is your money. That's why I prefer pub shows to the big festival type events. Don't beat yourself up over it mate, just put it down to experience & start planning the next one!

and i dont think we even got a photo of your car, maybe too much rain on the lense
