A free classic car show this Sunday, (11th June), at Catalina Drive, Poole harbour, Dorset. Some of the NSRA members are planning to meet up at Rownhams services, near Southampton, leaving at 9.45 to cruise down there so a display of rods & customs too.
Should be attending this one if I can pinch Rainbow's car for the day!

So that's what you meant!  I thought you were talking about Poole Quay - no wonder I'm confused!

It's at Baiter Park, which is apparently at the end of the quay Bobbi.
Rainbow's car's poorly at the moment -keeps overheating, which ain't good when Sunday's predicted to be the hottest day of the year so far & the road to Poole will be heaving with day trippers, so I'm trying to find an alternative way of getting there at the moment. Have arranged to meet up with Bad Toad of the 100% Biker forum, who lives there. Any idea if the train times from Basingstoke to Poole or Christchurch can be found online anywhere?

Ha! Knew someone would know! I can never find that kind of stuff on the 'net. Obviously not looking in the right places!
I've just posted a request on the NSRA forum, asking if anyone has a spare seat for the drive down. Between 30 & 40 assorted hotrods expected to meet at Rownhams services on the M27, which is about 5 miles from Rainbow's place. Would be cool to travel there in style & glean some insights into rod building on the way, but the train is a good back up plan at the moment. Thanks Byz.

19 quid return on the train direct from Basingstoke to Poole so that looks like the very kiddie for me.

Like the bike ones? Must be permanently thronged with vehicles down there!
Hopefully Bad Toad from 100% will be meeting me at the station so I don't have to find the place myself -just as well cos my sense of direction is appalling. Shame you can't make it Hon. Would've been nice to see you again.

Not quite like the bike one as it's themed - and now I look, it's a bit exclusibve - well it excludes me anyway cos I can't see how my old Maestro would fit into any of these categories.
