spoke to a couple of people in my club last night and was told that you have to move the steering box inwards,weld a plate on etc then a hole is drilled in the steering arm about an inch or so up from the steering rod (has to be close to to rod or else steering gets heavy) then on a sub frame fitted just in front of central driving position a plate and bearing assembly (I know Chalky used to use wheelhubs for this for ease building) with handlebars fitted, new steering rod is fitted from this plate to the new hole in the steering arm with rose joints on each end. T make all this happen you need to bend some heavy tubing to weld to the chassis to mount the top of suspension leg so you can then cut away the section that kicks up at the front. I know this may be clear as mud but I hope it helps. Cab`t find any pics to show all this I`m afraid.

Cheers,thats as clear as mud hehe.
Chassis now completely bare ready to clean & spray,front suspension all cleaned new bushes to be fitted.

Right i have my beer barrel,so am i right in thinking i need 3 holes,1 for putting fuel in/2 one for feeding the engine/3 one vent/breather,is this assumption correct,any comments/advice welcome.George.

that seems about right george. but make sure the filler leakproof as its part of mot now, would also advise it to be lockable. good luck with build.

Back to front,never mind.
Well made some progress,stated at the rear,as that seems to be the easiest,new brake pistons,new brake pipe,new shocks & bushes,back seat nearly done,have given myself 2 options on final position,at the back with tiny luggage space,or further forward more luggage space,but less leg room.
Got myself a welder,cheaper than keep paying my friendly garage.
Started to think about the front end,but not sure yet,having fun though
