I agree with Shaun, bikes should be ridden!

One of the things I really liked when we visited the Haynes Museum at Sparkford was that a couple of the old Brit bikes there were covered in muck - one of them just being returned to the display after a ride round the country lanes by one of the staff who was about to clean them.  He siad that everything that's driveable gets driven at some time or other.
