our oil in frame vincent frame is finally finished. usually we would drop the engine slightly more than we have here. but that means that the engine oil drain plug has to be moved, it just entails drilling a tapping a 1/4" hole underneath the engine but this customer wanted to retain the standard drain plug. on the left side of the engine. oil capacity is 3.5 pints.
plus we only fitted a head steady on the front pot, as there have been some concerns  concerning expansion of the engine.

Dracken, that's a very tidy looking frame, but its a shame about the drain plug obstacle as slightly lower in the frame would have looked better. I had an Alta framed trialer back in the late 60's with a duplex oil in the frame set up, similar to yours, but in lighter tube of course as it only housed a 125cc 'Trailcat' motor. Very nice that, a bit of "proper" motorcycle engineering, Morrag
