hopefully that`ll be the last time the lathe is used as a holding device, with a bit of luck i`ll be using it as a lathe this year  Wink

While i was in the shed today i thought i may as well get this finished.
Just need to put a slight bend in the neck, so its held in the vice, needed more leverage so i slipped the end of a spanner over the neck and gently bent it forward, suppose i should have heated the brass first but it bent ok without snapping.
