just got hold of another lump and the oil dip stick tube is loose in the block . anyone know how to cure this thanks brains

loose dipstick== make shure that it has the ,steady, bracket from the top to the front cyl head stud
then pull out the offending tube clean the hole in the block,, clean of the bottom inch of the tube with thinners or simaler apply some loctite (stud and bearing fit or nutlock) press the tube back into the block and refit the ,,steady,, bracket

:)The repair worked great and the bearing stuff will fill and seal gaps up to .5mm . and goes off in about an hour . the tube goes down to a stop so it keeps the oil level markings correct. thanks for the help chaps.
