That's the sort of thing I was thinking of, but not sure of the end fittings & how to seal the tube into them or seal the fitings into the tank.

I will also be installing a sight-tube at some point into my spun-alloy tank. I aim to have a bung welded into the bottom so that I can thread it for a small elbow just like those bent tyre valve adaptors and fit a corresponding tube in the side of the filler neck. I just have to source some clear tube that hasn't got the mesh reinforcment and that won't go yellow. I saw the article in Custom Car about those Pyrex water pipes but that might be asking for trouble if it got smashed miles from anywhere.

There is a translucent red fuel pipe that you can get from hot rod shops, that might work. Though it may be a bit hard to see the level?

Rockstar, you are doing a great job. Wish I was as far forward. I would like to know is this a hardtail?. From your pics it seems to be, why I'm askin is because I cant figure what the shock absorbers are for at the back, what are they attached to at the top?. I was thinking of attaching a seat frame to the bike frame with bushings and putting shocks roughly the same as yours at the back. But your frame seems to be welded solid at the front. Maybe I am missing something here.

Mike, (Rockstar). The disc was posted to you yesterday. Some areas of the country are getting mail pretty promptly at the moment & some have a bit of a backlog, but hopefully it'll be with you soon.

Doooh, see it now, the whole axle can rise and fall and the seats are not sprung. Lot wider than a bike swingarm so should be a lot stronger. Hope this works.
