Its cold again this morning, theres been another light covering of snow as i look out the window and its 5.00am.Im doin a trip up to Hull to fetch a reliant engine +box i won?on flea bay bit of a journey from Dudley but ive been after one for some time know and they seem to be getting as rare as rockin hoss s**te? so well exited .....oh and its my xmass present .......er to my self as no one would buy me wot i wanted for xmass!
If i get back ok later, i will let yol know!!

Hope they're going to gift wrap it for you.  Can just imagine the faint smell of petrol in the house when you come downstairs on Christmas morning & the big mystery parcel under the tree with a big puddle of oil under it! |

Saturday evening about 6 daughter Lucy and Simon set off to drive up to Sheffield - they chose to drive overnight in these conditions! I had to remind Lucy that although they are used to driving in snow and ice, that's in France where they understand how to deal with the stuff.
Still, if they got stuck, they were in a campervan so could park up, put the heating on, brew up a cuppa hot chocolate, and go to bed!
As it was, they got there with no problems.
Did you get back ok Dizzy?

Yes got there nd back ok but had to stop 5 times just to clean the windscreen! water bottle froze and didnt thaw until i got back to Dudley.The engine looks good too!
Thanks for all the replys plenty of comedians amongst the monkey brigade made me larf!!!!
