So what're these then? 2mm steel plates with spikes welded to them.
They're A4 sized display boards. When you arrive at the show site, we'll give you a spec' sheet & a pen to fill it out with -just the basics, owner's name, vehicle model, engine size, etc, with a space for you to add any points of interest. Then we'll attach them to the boards & push 'em into the ground in front of the vehicles. Gives the punters some basic info but small enough that they won't get in the way of anyone's photos.
Taken me all afternoon to make 36 of 'em!

Got some Heavy duty plastic that we use to cover up the vents on the chicken sheds. Worked lovely on my shed. Can have some if you want it.

Thanks for the offer Cabman. We plan to demolish the shed eventually & build a new one twice the size. So don't really want to spend too much effort water-proofing this one, but also need to keep the contents dry. Might try a big tin of bitumen painted over what's left of the felt.

As usual with these things, we've lost a couple of entrants for the Basingstoke show. Dave Two Lanes is bringng the drag car but can't bring his Dodge Charger, (shame cos we wanted to check it out again for info on Taz's one).
Looks like we've also lost Postie-Dave's mark 2 Consul. Again, a shame. I like Dave's cars cos they're like Renegade's Triumph -well used daily drivers, not highly polished show cars.
StrokerBlue's RoadRunner's looking unlikely too.
Not so many cars on our pitch this year, but more bikes & trikes. Still room for a couple more if anyone wants to join us. We'll be ringing round everyone in the next couple of days to check/nag you.  Wink

1 ) Taz...............................Reliant trike, (unfinished).
2 ) Manky...........................1953 Ford Pop pick-up, (unfinished. Probably).
3 ) Manky...........................Reliant trike, (unfinished. Probably. I'm detecting a trend here).
4 ) Renegade.......................Triumph 2.5 pi saloon.
5 ) Dave 2 Lanes..................1968 Dodge Super Bee drag car.
7 ) Doc...............................Suzuki GS850 trike.
8 ) TrikerPete & Chrissie.........Suzuki GS850 trike.
9 ) Brock & Mrs B.................."Black Pig Too" drag car, (finished/unfinished -you just can't tell with Brock).
10 ) Flap...............................Reliant trike.
11 ) Jay Jay...........................Reliant trike.
12 ) Goforest & mates..............lots of VW beach buggies.
13 ) Clive..............................CJ250 Cafe Racer,  possibly my Vespa PX125 chop if it isn't sold by then!
14 ) Dave, (Loony's Dad)........."Psycho Triko" VW trike.
15 ) Jake..............................Skyjet 125 chop.
16 ) Ryan..............................Honda CJ250 chop.
17 ) Panthershaun..................Rat LandRover or if a miracle happens Anglia pickup, with either Bobcat the Panther or Cochise the Indian Scout.
18 ) Snafu............................."Blue Job" Reliant trike.
19 ) Mouse & Sandra...............Suzuki GS850 trike.
20 ) Steve............................1965 Chevy Nova.
21 ) Big Darren......................Quad & Tri Z off-road trike.
22 ) Cabman77.......................750 tatty loud Virago.
23 ) Biker Gran.......................Kawasaki GT550 trike.
24 ) Archie............................Yamaha XS650 chop.
25 ) Tom...............................Chevy pick-up, possibly with his own Yamaha XS650 chop project in the back.
26 ) Jacko & friends................various trikes.

We've also lost Brock & Mrs Brock's drag car. In a million pieces in their workshop at the moment.  Sad
Anyone else want to step foward?

Yeah, come along mate. Unfinished projects are fine. As we keep saying, the punters seem to like to see the "behind the scenes" bits of a build. Most show goers only see the finished result & have no idea how it gets to that point. All 3 of our own projects will be part done.
