Cheap, cheerful, twist n go. I think they have a place in the market. I have seen the same things but they havent been road legal, no handbrake, rear lights ect, and needed work to get through the MSVA, not saying these ones aren`t road ready but if your buying it`s worth asking.
A lot of these chinese manufacturers around and although its not great quality it`s ok stuff. I bought my youngest a 50cc regal raptor when he was 16 cos he wanted a `scooter`, was the only one in the area at the time and i`ve only seen 1 more since, looks like a mini chop but made of plastic.

i would of thought that building your own trike would be more fun than buying a production job. buying the production and you'll have the same as everyone who's got one, takes the fun out of it i reckon.

I think the problem is a lot of people either can't or think they can't do the work so if they can buy one off the peg they will be happy. I wish I could afford to buy one (running trike that is) to ride round while I am building up, mind I only have time for one or the other anyway  |

I think that they have their place. I mean If you are just getting into bikes/trikes and dont have the resources, like this humble site, its a good place to start.
Think back to when you first got onto a bike, was it a full on custom? or was it an old hack of a standard bike?
We've all got to start somewhere, and I know that I would consider the twist-and-go for either my wife or kids (when they get old enough) to give them a taste of the freedom that can be felt.

Can`t really see anyone seriously into bikes or trikes bein` interested, more your commutor with a disability or OAP maybe, and that can only be a good thing if you think about it, so, thumbs up for that reason say I!

I think they're plug ugly but I'd consider one if they did larger engine sizes.
As someone said, some of us don't have the ability to build our own trikes, much as we'd like to.
I've currently got a dilemma whether to try and get the GT trike changed so that I can continue to ride it even if maybe not to do the long trips I really enjoy, or whether to sell it to pay for more mods to the auto trike (like a new engine/box). A ready-made auto trike would suit me fine!

I quite like the fully bodied scooter type ones, just cos they're a bit different & quite stylish in a quirky kinda way. I'm not into twist n go scooters at all, but there's bound to be a market for them. If it gets one person out of a car & onto a bike/trike then that can only be a good thing. The more variety the better I reckon.
