i don,t know if its because i,m tired but i can,t see it working very well,it doesn,t look any where near strong enough.eg those outriggers,i,ll have another look tomorrow with a fresh pair of eyeballs.

Uli, i would stick with the sierra irs idea. not as hard to rig up as first thought. this is a setup for a vw but really could work for anything irs   dont get distracted by all the tripe for mounting the vw in it all you need is the shock mount and swingarm layout my 2 cents

Hi Chewie and welcome. Your swingarm looks a much better idea, I may even use that for my 5 series BMW diff/driveshafts when I get around to it.

Nice looking frame, just an observation, if the shaft/tube the blokes holding in the pic is secured to the “swing arm?” and frame, to stop lateral movement it will maintain it’s length during suspension travel and twist the swing arm.
I’ve probably missed something here as there’s no full pic of the assembly.
