Renegade recently mentioned a couple of lorries he'd seen down his way with some impressive artwork on the cabs. He sent us some pics on a disc -which we immediately lost. Sorry Dave. Found it!  Grin

Some lovely portraiture, (is that a proper word?).
Another one, music based.

Thanks for those Renegade. Pays to keep a camera in your glovebox don't it. You never know what you might come across on your travels.

Hi,

They are great.  Love Steve McQueen especially in that film.

If you like lorry art then you ought to try and get to TruckFest.  I went with Chevy Rick this year and really enjoyed it.  I like lorries anyway as my dad owned a haulage firm and as a treat, I used to go out on the lorries with him when I was a youngster (sometimes we would be on the road at 3 am and I remember having to wait until 7am before there would be anything on the radio - how times change Roll Eyes).  Anyway that's another story.  Check out this link for more details on TruckFest and for the photos Rick took - http://www.mankymonkeymotors.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=5969.0

Hmm, perhaps we should collate all the truck art pics into one gallery & post them in the Miscellaneous section then.

the escape to victory truck was at the same place on thursday but as it was 'home time' from the estate parking at the side of the road would of caused problems so i didn't stop. escape to victory was the wartime football film about pow, with mr caine and mr stallone. there's also mephis belle but i haven't seen that one for some time
