last saturday went to the crem with me mum to lay some flowers for the anniversary of me dad passing away but got stuck behind someone who didn't seem to concentrate too well on what was behind him. at the roundabout at the end of chobham high street he was 3/4 of the way into the right hand lane, so i foolishly thought he was gonna go right. wrong. he then comes back into the left hand lane stops and puts on the left indicator. next roundabout he stops to give way to the left. yep the left. going along pass the rspca he's speeding up slowing down looking at anything but whats ahead or behind. further along he stops at the traffic lights well they were red. turn green he pulls away then stops. causing me to brake the bike behind to brake and the people carrier to brake.
by now i'm getting fed up with his driving so i sound the horn. he starts to point to a woman waiting on the other side of the road. further along he stops at a zebra crossing no-one there wanting to cross. he gets out of the car and comes up to me and tells me to grow up  Smiley i've passed 56 so what age do you have to be to stop being told to grow up.
maybe the shaved bonce, shades and a checkered roof car made him think i was a boy racer  Smiley. so i must assume as the guy seemed a similar age to me that he thought i was some sort of boy racer type. oh the joys of growing old and not giving a sh*te  Smiley

I have similar issues ,so dont worry mate! Im 56 and driving Kit cars ,a Lowrider, (which I like to abuse the suspension on as much as poss in the high street on a Saturday with all the shoppers around!),and maybe me trike one day. We might not be what others expect for our age ie shiny, conservative vehicles etc,so we've possibly got our 'branding' all wrong, but who gives a toss? Just be you! But Im afraid you'll have to suffer the stares and boy racer comments along the way! Grin
