Aye, they were. No worries, no ties, no committments. Broke, but only had to pay for petrol & beer. I was riding a 650 Bonny by then. The Milestones Museum here in Basingstoke has got one on display. Am I getting old? Still feel like that kid in the photo, just a few more aches & pains & greyer hair. Still broke.
