Hmm, purple Jag with Chevy V8. Very sensible. Thought you told me not to buy one cos it's not practical?! Spain's a bit of a long way to go to look at it too!

Well, when you buy it and then find you can't afford to run it you can sell it to me.
Hmm, got a friend who lives not far from Malaga...

Like shoes, you can never have enough cars! (Six outside the house at present...)
Have just been seriously considering putting my Capri back on the road...

Why? Not enough room in the yard any more? You sure you live in a farmhouse & not a carpark? The purple Jag would suit you perfectly my dear! Can see you arriving at shows in it with The Ride of the Valkyries thundering out of the stereo.

Got a ways to go before I fill the yard! Just deciding it was time I had a new car and pottering through some ads, and thought 'Hmm, maybe...'

I've already got way too many projects on the go -as lots of people have told me. Bumped into an auto upholsterer in Steve' Piper's bike shop in Eastleigh this afternoon who said he could cover the back & underside of my Jag sofa for me to hide the exposed springy bits. Mr Piper had a gorgeous bright orange civilian issue 45 in stock but don't think it was for sale, plus a bright red Speed Triple for twice the price I paid for mine. Flap & I are trying to persuade Doro, ("Summer"), to give us the 1100 Yam I sold 'em a while back in exchange for a new trike frame for their GT. Don't know what we'll do with it but it's too good for them to cut up & trike. Also got my long term rod thingy, the trike, Rainbow's trike -no room for any more. Maybe.
