great weekend, maybe we should try and get more from mmm to go next year and book a cabin or two and put up the mmm banner

Glad you had a good time and we are looking forward to the photos. If they dropped the prices I'm sure more people would go but at the moment it's just too pricey. Maybe next year if we can get something on the road.

Cheesy Welcome back to reality Renegade -well, our Manky version of reality anyway. Sounds like you guys had a good time. Looking forward to the piccies.
Taz & I used to use normal AA batteries in our little pocket digi cameras. Got through dozens of the damn things & became very adept at flipping the old ones out & dropping fresh ones in on the move. Now we've upgraded to bigger D60 Nikon cameras, we use rechargable Nicad battery packs. We've got 4 GB memory cards that'll let us take well over 1,500 photos, (Taz did at the Mopar Nationals a few weeks ago). A Nicad battery will last us all day unless we're walking round with the camera left switched on, which we tend to do when there's a lot of vehicles moving about & you want to snap something quick. We've been to a local classic car show today & both had to swap batteries for fresh ones mid afternoon.

i've got one of them point and click, it seems to do the job ok and does ok with video clips. runs on rechargeables so next time i'll recharge before i go. the camcorder also takes photos so i think i'll leave a card in that for pics. both cameras only take a maximum 1gb card

Doesn't that reflector make a huge difference to the shot. Bit of a bugger to lug round the shows with us though.

isn't that one of the magic collapsible ones, like a fabric centre and carbon ring ? they just fold them up like you do with a band saw blade, probably with less blood loss though, at least compared with our shed.

Or use it as a frisbee on the campsite.
