A bit disappointing this one.
Taz was workng today, so I took a leisurely drive over to the Brooklands Museum around lunchtime -it's only about 10 miles from us. I'd gone hoping to pick up an interesting set of vintage car or aeroplane lights to act as indicators on my Pop pick-up project, but the few jumble stalls that were there were almost all selling collectables -highly polished & over-priced bonnet mascots, books & models.
Several Australian registered Napiers in the carpark though & the aluminum bodied Napier Railton race car sounded absolutely awesome running through it's 3 huge fishtail exhausts.
A pleasant enough way to while away a couple of hours, but I'm glad I hadn't travelled any great distance to get there.

It's enormous -like a bloomin' truck. Thundering round the bumpy concrete banked track in that at over 100mph must've been terrifying. I want one.  Grin
