Would really like to know where you get those big fat wheels/tyres for the rods Huh  Chrome/white 8 spokes just don't do it for me.
15"-16" dia x 12"+ width, Have seen some on a "US"hot rod site once before but cant find them now.

You do

How do you think i felt
especially as I bought the rims with no thought as to tyres

and the local tyre specialist were only prepared to offer 245s etc..

so i phoned up northants tyres and said whats the biggest tyre i can fit to this rim - and lo and behold you see before you the death of a lot of rubber plants  Grin Grin Grin

Just found the site I had seen before,   "Total performance inc" US, do pro stock rear tyres for "T-bucket hot rods---31x16.50x15 and 31x18.50x15 for $205 each, but "webster race engineering" uk, do the same size for £188 each,    wheels will be 15x10 vitara chromes I think. Yours look good, BUT, way too rich for me Im afraid.

For "sensible" sized tyres try:

http://www.tyresdirectuk.co.uk/

A pair of 225/50/15s for our little Reliant trikes are 24 quid each I think.
