Hi Wink
Mr Shriva lives near the coast of Alabama, close to New Orleans. By the way matey, we've got another forum member, Rodders, who's practically your neighbour, being a mere 591 miles away in Sarasota.
Some beautiful shots as always. We're deeply jealous of your photografficky skills. Love the birds in flight.
Most common animals in our garden are grey squirrels & pheasants, neither of which are native to Britain. My brother in law, Baggie, in Canada says racoons are a real pest in his neighbourhood. So what's the local population consist of in your back yard?

Sorta semi-pro... Don't do it for a living, but do sell alittle, I'm working on it.. Hehe

Currently I'm an over the road truck driver, I drive 48 states, at about 6,000 miles a week.. ( I drive team training other drivers) trying to get pictures around the US when I get time.

As for local animals in my yard/area...

I have squirrels, armadillos, lizards ,BIG spiders, fire ants ( bites worse then the spiders.. LOL ) then in the area (less then 5 miles) we have alligators, wild boar, and all the normal southern birds, herons, egrets being some of the cooler ones to photograph.

"Armadillos -crunchy on the outside, smooth on the inside".  Cheesy
We get herons & egrets but not too many 'gators here in Surrey.
6 thou a week! At what? 55mph? That's an awful lot of hours in the cab.

Only a couple states are limited to 55mph, most are 65 or 75mph.

Didn't know that. Taz & I were looking at Google maps this morning. We've got 2 weeks holiday in October. were supposed to be getting married but the time's just sort of slipped away from us this past year & we haven't even set a date. Would really love to visit the States. Taz wants to drive Route 66 or at least part of it. We're both big wildlife fans, so I suggested maybe fly to Chicago, drive the route to San Diego & visit the zoo there, (one of the biggest in the World). Allowing travelling time there & back from Britain, maybe 10 days Stateside. Enough time? Would love to take in a rod or bike show along the way. Any suggestions?
