Today I had a root around in the shed and found enough nuts & bolts to fasten my bellhousing.
I need about twenty high tensile jobbies, but the old ones will do for now.
I spent the rest of the day cutting & filing my 8mm ally plate. It's just resting together in the pic as I have to line the driveshaft up.

The piggy bellhousing is a bigger diameter than the metalwork. I might have to wiggle the gearbox around to line it up, and I wanted all the space I could get.

Its been a while but I have been playing again.
I am having a rethink on my frame as I don't like the shape. Don't like nicking other peoples idea's but I think Andy's frame looks so right.  I have enough tube to make up another frame and am going to have a look.

I have been having a play with the bender and some tube.
No pics as it is just an exercise to see how a Mankey-style will look with a VW lump in it. If it works I will get some proper tube and make a real frame.
