The sun shone on Kempton Park today i think this must be our summer, seems to be plotting the same course as last year, fine up to Easter then look out CRAP weather for the rest of the year. They turned out in their hundreads today, even when i came on people were still turning up in large numbers. The hotrod in the photo's below was registered as an Austin see the badge on the rad, even though it looks like an old Ford, front running gear looked like MGB. The Velo in the photo's was not for the faint hearted to restore even though it needed the kiss of life some body handed over a big pile of cash for it before i left.
Disc in the post.

Thanks Rick. I was working till lunchtime so couldn't get there in time. Janie & Dave rang me though, (he's a fellow Postie -how the hell did he finish so early?!), to ask what hotrod event was going on cos they passed loads of rods going the other way while they were driving to Kempton.
Insolent Minx -did you go? Did you find that project you were hoping for? You didn't buy that Velocette did you?!

i though the metal man there was as expensive as the metal supermarket so didnt buy off him, i came out with a little bag for the bike, a scott book, a couple of mags and a rack to modify, went with a list of all sorts but nothing fitting the descriptions on page so very cheap day...

I love Kempton, but I am trying to keep my money firmly in my pockets at the moment so I'm avoiding anywhere that will tempt me Roll Eyes and Kempton is one of if not the best place to tempt me Grin Grin

I usually go with one list of bits I actually need & come back with another list of bits I don't need at all but bought cos I couldn't resist 'em.
