"What's it like to ride a 1920s or 30s motorcycle with a lever throttle, hand gear change & brakes that are only slightly more efficient than dragging your feet?"
For £25 you could find out at Vintage Virgin Training Days in May.

The Vintage Motorcycle Club have arranged two days -on 3rd May at Arbourfield Barracks, near Reading, Berkshire & 25th May at Curborough, near Litchfield, Staffordshire.
Instruction will be given by the bikes' owners.

To book a place call the VMCC on 01283-540557.

Copied from another site -

Vintage Motorcycle Training Day (south)

Arbourfield Barracks, near Reading.

Organised by VMCC. Owners of 1920s and 1930s hand-change machines give instruction in the art of riding for those willing to brave lever throttles and tank mounted gear sticks.

The entry fee £25 gives the opportunity to ride at least 10 different vintage machines. Book early as places are limited and no entries are taken on the day due to the events being so oversubscribed. For non-VMCC members one day membership will be available at a cost of £3.

For entry form telephone 01283 540557 or email events@vmcc.net
