23- 25th June, 2006
See Rally/Show Photos for last year's event. Held at Headley Park Hotel, Bordon, Hants. A really nice one this. A weekend camping do with excellent pitches among the trees & beside the lake. Lots of trade & food stalls, plus bar meals in the hotel itself, beer marquee. live evening music, fireworks, ride-in bike show etc. Nice relaxed atmosphere. As it's local I do it as a day trip but heartily recommended.

Yup!  I second that!

An excellent event, not too big but big enough to attract lots of stalls, lovely setting with the lake and the trees, great bikes to look at, good food, good music......

The weather left a little to be desired last year..............

I was there in 2005 but missed 2004. 2003 was so bloomin' hot people were being treated for 3rd degree sunburn. See you there again then Bobbi. Wink

Yep, I have to agree, this is a good event to go to, especially the entertainer with his bicycle that peddles backwards and the handlebars that need to be turned in the opposite direction of where you want to go.  Always a good laugh that, watching the guys full of beer trying to beat one another.

I've been going now for the last 5 years and this is where I first met Andy when he had his green trike which I wanted to buy off him.  They say you never forget your first love (I'm talking about the trike!)

Lots of friendly people there too!  Hopefully I'll be able to meet up with a few people this year that write on this forum.  Janie.

Ahh, Janiepoos, I didn't know you cared ...about my tricycle.
Just about to start yet another frame. This one's for Critch. Mine seems to be getting pushed to the back of the queue!

Tricycle???

It peddled a bit faster than that if I remember rightly.  Especially when you sped off out of the Alton cafe the other summer.  Gee you must have been peddling like mad.  Yabbadabbadoooo. LOL

God I miss having a trike on the road! The big Honda's fine as transport, but it's just got no character. Leaves me completely unmoved. The trike never failed to put a grin on my face though. Don't worry -it WILL be back, better, stronger, faster than before!
If all goes well it looks like my brother Steve may have found me a 4.2 litre straight 6 Jag engine for my hotrod project. Looking forward to seeing how fast I can peddle that!  Grin

18 years on the job, (19 next month I think), & I've never yet used a Post Office bike. After your face/road interface incident over Christmas I think you need a little more practice yourself! x

Scotland? Whereabouts? You emigrating up there? Janie's trying to post photos on the forum but can't reduce them. You manage it & you're remarkably stoopid -how do you do it? I use a Photoshop programme Yoda set up for me.

Have no idea whereabouts in Scotland I'm going. It's an army thing they don't like giving to much away.
I downloaded PIXresizer, it's free. Put it in your search engine and see what happens.

I'll try not to damage the countryside to much, but I will be driving one of these.  Grin

I could have done with one of those at christmas for all the mail I was delivering.  Just imagine dumping everyones mail in the middle of the road and shouting "come and get it" then cycling off. LOL
