ok manky you talked me into it, here are some photos of what ive been playing with in "roobarbs shed" these past couple of months. first thing i did was to adjust the chassis with the disc cutter, stretched the whole thing by 10" and lowered the seats by 4". also made new fueltank and dash/dummytank, new riders seat base and a few other bits that are still ongoing.  i thought about the duel clutch pedals so even if one of my legs is playing up it wont stop me riding. even though i had my right hip replaced last february my knees are now hurting Smiley the hand clutch fitted  to the gearstick last year by a "trike builder" wasnt any good, tooo bulky and it kept moving around so i came up with this in the short term. in the long term i hope to have some sort of electrical solenoid/servo operated by push button on top of gearstick?! but im skint at the moment. will send you some more photos another time. take care. bum !!!could'nt send the attachments as they too big, will try again later if i can reduce them Sad

Yup, worked fine that time!
You & I know all about your trikey troubles Pete, but the rest of the World doesn't! Fire up the ol' keyboard  & write us a feature on the V Dub's various incarnations! Don't think we ever had anything on the blue Reliant either did we? Go on! You write it, we'll publish it!
Yodie keeps telling me we should do a few bits on everyday workshop jobs too. General maintainance jobs, how to adjust a chain, (Rainbow's doing her own for the first time tomorrow), how to use various tools, like torque wrenches for example. Loads of people don't know the basics -or worse, don't, but think they do. With your big Alladin's shed full of all manner of wonderous things & penchant for collecting tools & stuff, you'd be the ideal man for the job mate! Fancy writing us a couple of pieces? Just a couple of paragraphs & a few explanatory piccies would do. Assume you're explaining to someone who's never twirled a spanner in their lives & you can't go far wrong. There you go -a challenge for you!  Wink

You sure that's a trike you're building there?  Cheesy
Not knocking up your own nuclear submarine or Sherman tank or something are you? Looking good matey. Would love to know how you produce those compound curves with the same basic pipe bender I've got! Write us an article on how to use a pipe bender!

See, there's half a dozen articles worth in that chassis alone! Compound curves -those that go in more than one direction. How do you create a full 180 degree bend mate? I reckon you must be bending those tubes with your bare hands!
