A nice Gent called Robert sent me these details regards an event near Andover, space is limited but sounds like a nice day & free lunch so not a bad shout. Please feel free to call him on 01264 710403 for more details & just tell him you heard it from Steve the Barber, cheers.

Monxton is an attractive small village situated approximately three miles South West of Andover and we have a Flower Festival every five or ten years, the last one was in 1999.  The Aim of these Festivals is to raise funds for the village Church, which is in need of repair, and for the Kingfisher Ward at Andover's War Memorial Hospital.   The Kingfisher Ward specialises in essential rehabilitation work but is underfunded and needs help.

On Sunday 21 June between 11.00 and 5pm we are planning a classic car show, which will be held in a paddock at the centre of the village.   We believe such a show will be of wide interest and great attraction that it will encourage more people to visit the Festival.   We expect to be able to accommodate between 50 and 60 vehicles and have promises so far of 11.   We would delighted if you and your friends could agree to bring interesting cars to this event and we will be very glad to welcome you to Monxton.  We are able to offer those who attend with a classic car a buffet lunch in the garden of Monxton Manor.

I'd just like to add to this that if you don't get lunch in the Manor, then the Black Swan in the centre of the village does fantastic food too!!

I'll definitely be going to this one!

Doubt it would be free if it's a charity event!

Hm, wonder if they want interesting trikes as well.............?  Sounds rather pleasant!
